How Much Of My Time Will It Take To Build An Inbound Lead System For My Business?

Your time commitment will vary greatly depending on the stage you are in and how involved you want to be involved in the process. At a minimum, there will be meetings you need to attend so that we can gather information and review completed deliverables. There will also be occasions where you are asked to provide information, answer questions, or review materials we have developed prior to or between calls. 

During the Plan stage, we will provide you with an in-depth survey we use to collect all of the info we need to start your 30-day Growth Road Map project and schedule a kickoff call to review your response. It should take 1-2 hours to complete the survey and no more than 1 hour for the call. We often have questions throughout the project that we will send by email, those should require no more than 1-2 hours of your time. At the conclusion of the project, we will have a 1.5 – 2 hour meeting to review our findings and recommendations with you and selected members of your team. We will schedule a 30-min following meeting a few days later to discuss next steps. In summary, you should expect to spend no more than 7-8 hours of your time during this stage. 

During the Build stage, there will be a series of designated meetings between our team and yours that we use to gather information and map out various aspects of your Inbound Lead System. The initial kickoff meeting is typically 1 – 1.5 hours, which the Brand Discovery Meeting is typically 1.5 – 2 hours. We will also schedule regular update meetings that will typically last 3-45 minutes. In addition to meetings, there will be various times throughout the process where you will be asked to review and provide input on deliverables such as brand messaging, content briefs, website designs, completed web pages, ad creative, email copy, etc. In total, you should expect your or your team members time for meetings and deliverable reviews to be in the neighborhood of 20-40 hours. If you or your team will be writing any of the content, your time will increase at about 2-4 hours per piece of content. 

During the Ongoing stage we will hold a monthly meeting that typically lasts 45 – 60 minutes. You will receive a copy of our monthly report prior to those calls which should take 15 minutes or less to review. We will also send you various deliverables throughout the month to review and provide feedback. In general, we would expect your ongoing time commitment to be 2-3 hours per month. On occasion, we may elect to call an additional meeting. Also, if your is developing content, that will require additional time.
